Note from Tom
Hi everyone, happy editing. If you haven't edited Wikipedia before, you might want to look at their guide to editing. I reckon it'd be good to use the facilities for adding tables of contents, categories, footnotes, different heading levels, etc. However the editor has the basic buttons you need, including one for adding external web links and one for adding 'internal links', which link to entries in this wiki. If these entries don't exist, don't worry - someone will always be able to add them later by clicking on the link you've created. You can also add entries by searching for their titles, and then clicking on the link to create them you then see on the search page.
To add images, host them externally (there are plenty of sites which let you do this - perhaps someone can edit this message to add some?) Then include them with HTML image tags or the image syntax described in http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:EmbedImg
