Dr. Angie Holzer

CEO / Founder

Angie received her doctorate in learning and leadership, specializing in organizational leadership.  Her research focused on how nonprofits collaborate in fighting human trafficking and the challenges these nonprofits have in working together to improve outcomes.  As a result, WikiCharities is developed to provide a better way to connect victims to nonprofits and their services.  She is a leading expert in nonprofit leadership and management.  In 2010, Angie founded Given Tree, a nonprofit that developed a certification for smaller nonprofits to show their accountability and learn best practices. WikiCharities will service the entire nonprofit sector while focusing on engaging nonprofits working in anti-trafficking efforts. 

Angie currently teaches yoga and meditation at Stanford University and specializes in yoga for mental health.  She received her training in Rishikesh, India, the yoga capital of the world, from Yogi Dinesh.  Angie is a leading expert in her field of yoga for mental health and how yoga can help reduce stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD and provide victims of human trafficking with healing tools. She is certified in yoga and mindfulness for cancer survivors, trauma-informed yoga, and applied adaptive yoga.
