We have two locations: Kearns and Herriman. We are operating 5 days a week, with different classes on both locations. Families are becoming more aware of what we do and are excited to start this journey with us, even though we don't have a local studio to call our own.

At our organization, we believe in celebrating and preserving the rich tapestry of cultures, with a special focus on the Latin American heritage. Our vision is to provide a vibrant platform for children, particularly immigrant children, to explore, appreciate, and engage with the diverse traditions, dance, music, and rhythms of the Latin American culture.
Through our programs, we will foster a deep sense of pride and cultural identity, promoting understanding, empathy, and unity among children from different backgrounds. By immersing others in the captivating world of Latin American dance, music, and rhythms, we strive to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
We envision a future where every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to embrace and cherish their cultural heritage while building bridges of friendship and respect with others. Our commitment to this vision drives us to create inclusive spaces where children can freely express themselves, learn from one another, and develop a profound sense of belonging.
Together, let us embark on a journey of cultural exploration and preservation, nurturing the next generation to become global citizens who value and celebrate the beautiful diversity that surrounds us.
*Create a positive and supportive environment where students feel welcome, comfortable, encouraged, and motivated to progress. We are, by nature, social creatures, so our foundation should foster a sense of community among its students and instructors in all three areas of instruction: singing, dancing, and percussion.
*Be sustainable to keep up with quality instructors to keep our program going.
*Appropriate class sizes. We currently are operating with some of the dance classes having low enrollment because that’s what fits a parent's schedule.
*Current number of classes teaching: 17.
*Continue offering our yearly video at no cost to our students.
*Fundraise enough money to start saving up for our own facilities around the state.
*Be able to afford our own facility in 3 locations around the valley: Herriman, Kearns, and Provo. Double the number of classes and offerings that still call to preserve different cultures.
Across the country, music education opportunities for children are dwindling due to school budget cuts. This lack of access to music education deprives children of many benefits, including enhanced cognitive development, improved social skills, increased creativity, and cultural awareness. This helps us break down cultural barriers, build bridges, and learn how to love and appreciate those different from us.
Additionally, there is a need to preserve the diverse cultural traditions that immigrants, especially those from Latin America, bring. Such traditions are often underrepresented in traditional school music programs. This lack of access to music education and cultural preservation is a significant problem that Kings Music Studios Foundation aims to solve by providing an after-school program that teaches music, dance, rhythm, and performing skills and promotes cultural enrichment. Utah needs a music and dance studio that focuses on preserving diverse cultures through the eyes of young artists, a quality music academy that also looks to expand its offerings to everyone who wants to experience the Latin-American culture and its uniqueness. Furthermore, Kings Music Studios Foundation is dedicated to providing a welcoming space for immigrant children to connect with their culture and identity.
At Kings Music Studios, we offer an exceptional after-school program for kids aged 4-18. Our focus is on music, dance, rhythm, folklore, and culture from around the world, with a particular emphasis on Latin American culture. Our lessons aim to enrich and preserve cultural traditions while also introducing children to new cultural experiences. With us as their mentors, your child will gain a deep understanding of the history of various musical styles globally, and significantly enhance their instrument, dancing, and singing skills to prepare them to become the artists and leaders of future.

Cultural Background - My cofounder and I have a cultural Latino/Hispanic background. We have used it to our advantage to capture people's attention by providing a Multicultural Celebration for children in the city. Connection with the Hispanic Community - Constant connection with Hispanic Key investors and entertainment promoters due to years of involvement in performances and singing around the state. Cofounders have more than ten years of experience in the Musical Theater Field - We understand how children's theater works, and this knowledge is helping us to create an after school curriculum that is catchy and fun.
Desire to Help Immigrants - We have an intrinsic desire to make a difference in the immigrant child who needs a place that identifies with his own culture. We know there's a need for cultural diversity at an early age. Most programs that have cultural diversity in eh area only focus on adults. We focus on children solely from K-12. Music Production - Having our own recording studio is an advantage for future workshops for children and for any music covers we might want to do to showcase our community proposal.
Funding - We don't have enough funding to get the word out about our programs. We have limited resources to be sustainable and pay our professional instructors and program assistants that help run the program. We don't have our own commercial lease - Room rental at local schools and rec center limits what we can offer to the community. It also limits growth.
Limited Staff/Leadership - We need to hire people to run all the programs and have a full schedule with vocal and dance instruction. Limited Area - Only located in two areas. Parents might not willing to drive where we are located.
Only Program in the area with a Cultural Background- we are the only after-school program geared towards cultural diversity in the community, specifically for children. There's also a great demand for exploration on languages. Herriman City involvement in the arts - The city is willing to support any project through our foundation.
There's a growing demand for extracurricular activities different than the typical - Our focus is on culture preservation, and with that come multiple opportunities for growth and child development. We provide performing opportunities to all children without having to audition for them, and we wnat to provide a place for ALL children to find what identifies them and feel proud of their background and heritage.
Rental Facilities are expensive - There aren't that many places that provide a reasonable rental fee in the area. Many extra-curricular programs - There are too many extra-curricular programs in the area to compete against. Well Established Studios might copy our idea - And since they have more resources, they might have the ability to have a more successful community outreach

We aim to prioritize monthly contributions of no less than $5,000 to compensate our instructors adequately.
Our goal is to secure a cultural center in the area to provide top-notch instruction and a more extensive selection of programs. We will work closely with local organizations that can refer low-income and immigrant families to our program, ensuring their children achieve the success they deserve.

We have developed a bigger social media awareness and families are starting to notice what we do. We have developed relationships with key community mentors. We have also hired professional instructors willing to preserve the Latin-American culture through the younger generation of artists, whether explorers or preservers, of the colorful rhythms and music of the Latino culture. We were able to impact more than 80 children over the summer with the two successful summer camps we had.
No grants or donations. Just the tuition and registration fees from families.
The biggest challenge is that we don't have the means to bring this program in a more affordable way. The lack of funding has gotten in the way of a bigger impact in our community because some families can't afford our program. Our instructors are professionals in what they do, and they deserve to be compensated for their time and talents. The money we fundraise will help pay the instructors, lower the costs to attend our program, provide costumes for our students, and have uplifting shows for our community where children can thrive in a performing environment.
We have partnered up with a social media outlet called Utahzolanos, which has a strong social media presence. They see the purpose of our programs and are willing to help us spread the word.
