At Destiel, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit LGBTQ+ organization, our mission is to uplift and empower the LGBTQ+ community through compassion, advocacy, and personal growth. Pillars of impact include education, support networks, and community engagement, as we aim to inspire resilience, promote inclusivity, and carve a path towards a brighter future where diversity is celebrated, equality prevails, and every LGBTQ+ person can soar to new heights in rural and urban communities.

Short-term Goals
Our goal for the next year is to secure $250,000 in additional funding. This funding will support the expansion of our support groups, mentorship programs, and educational initiatives, as well as the development of new EDI training modules. Additionally, we aim to allocate a portion of these funds towards operations support to ensure the sustainability and efficiency of our programs. By achieving this financial goal, Destiel will be able to increase its reach and impact, providing vital resources and support to more LGBTQ+ individuals both locally and globally.
Long-term Goals
Our goal for the next five years is to secure $2,000,000 in sustainable funding to support the expansion and enhancement of our programs and services. This funding will enable Destiel to:
1. Build and Operate Dedicated Facilities Globally:
o Establish multiple facilities worldwide and across the United States to serve as hubs for our support groups, mentorship programs, and educational workshops.
2. Expand Program Reach:
o Increase the number of support groups, workshops, and educational initiatives, ensuring accessibility for LGBTQ+ individuals globally.
3. Enhance Online and Digital Resources:
o Continuously develop and expand our library of digital educational content, making it available in multiple languages to serve a diverse audience.
4. Strengthen Operational Capacity:
o Invest in advanced technological tools and operational support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our programs.
5. Develop a Comprehensive Advocacy Campaign:
o Launch global advocacy initiatives to promote LGBTQ+ rights and influence positive policy changes.
6. Forge Strategic Partnerships:
o Establish long-term partnerships with corporations, foundations, and other nonprofits to leverage resources and expertise.
7. Increase Community Engagement:
o Engage with local communities through regular events, volunteer opportunities, and outreach programs to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
8. Build a Sustainable Financial Model:
o Develop diversified funding sources, including grants, donations, sponsorships, and earned income, to ensure financial stability and growth.
